My handmade pasta Bolognese was out of this world
This past weekend
was filled with shopping, family and friend cookouts, naps in the sun, and too
many ice cream cones to count (or admit too). Friday we went shopping at an
outdoor shopping village where the Anthropologie store there is amazeballs,
much better than the one by me. That night me and Anth went to a nice intimate
dinner at this rustic Italian restaurant and had the patio all to ourselves. It
was so nice to relax and eat wonderful gourmet food. Saturday was non-stop
picnics, Italian style meaning bocce games, espresso and a lot of hand
gestures.
For dinner on
Friday, I wanted to wear jeans since the weather was cool, and decided on an
all white monochrome look with nude heels for a streamlined silhouette. I don’t
know what it is but I actually realized today that I wore all white all
weekend, and only spilled chocolate ice cream on me twice. That’s a record. My
jeans are Articles of Society, a great priced label at Nordstrom. When I was on
the hunt for white denim, I had three main criteria: they could not be
semi-sheer, and they had to had stretch.
I also only wear white jeans in nice weather so they couldn’t be too thick.
This pair met all three and I was amazed at how comfy they were. I had them hem
them for me so they hit right at the ankle, which is the most flattering length
for a skinny leg jean. I paired them with one of my favorite Zara tops which
the flowy shape complimented the tighter denim and added my ankle strap nudes.
Perfect summer date night look!
