For the third and final styling of this versatile vest, I decided to go with a little bit edgier look. All three are a dark neutral base with the vest being the pop of color as a statement.
Look 1
It was a no-brainer to combine fall's best color combo with this blush vest with forest green.
Vest: Banana Republic // Top: Nordstrom (white version worn here ) // Skirt: Piperlime // Booties: Nordstrom // Bag: Kate Spade // Rings: Nordstrom
Layering on point! I wanted a couple different elements in this outfits, such as texture and contrast. I went with a peplum striped top, a faux leather draped jacket, the vest and real leather pants. The result: I felt chic and sophisticated.
Faux leather jacket: Cabi // Peplum Top: The Limited // Leather Pants: Banana Republic // Pumps: Calvin Klein
Look 3
Grown sexy, as Catherine Lowe (from the Bachelor) calls it. Take this from work to drinks by slipping out of a blouse and having nothing underneath except a lace bralette peeking through.
Bralette: Free People // Vest & Pants: Banana Republic // Heels: Go Jane // Earrings: Nordstrom
And to finish off this series on a bright note...my good friend Giavonna saw and loved this vest, but wasn't sure how often she would wear it. That is until she saw my pictures of how I would style it, and she pulled the trigger and showed up to a wedding we had Saturday night with a sexy black dress, and this vest over top. She looked so beautiful and polished, as she always does! See, you really can wear this piece everywhere!
