Whoever designed the drapey pant deserves a kiss. I never considered myself to have a work uniform per say, but I guess I kind of do. I wear drapey pants pretty much everyday during the work week. Soft silhouettes can be tricky, especially when dressing for work because it can go sloppy-meets-pj's real fast. The key is in what pieces you pair with them. Go for more structured items to balance out the look and keep it appropriate for a business casual situation. I typically pair my pants with a collared top of some sort and a blazer or jacket. I love this pant not only for the comfort factor, but the fact that they are not skin tight and really can be worn in many different ways. I've worn drapey pant outfits to work, dinner, bar and even a funeral. Below are some of my favorite ways I wear the pants.
Look 1: Silk pants, crisp button-down and sweater
Pants: Macy's // Shirt: The Limited // Sweater: Target // Heels: Calvin Klein
Look 2: Cotton pants, utility shirt, moto jacket
Pants: Anthropologie // Top: JC Penney // Jacket: H&M (in the girls section!) // Flats: J. Crew
Look 3: Cotton pants, tissue tee, denim jacket
Pants: Nordstrom // Top: Splendid // Denim Jacket: Nordstrom // Sneakers: Old Navy
Below, here are some other options out right now that you can do so much with!
Banana Republic (comes in green too)
J. Crew (lusting after the gold ones)
Old Navy (I have these!)
Nordstrom (olive green is perfect for fall)
Would you wear these pants? They can be so chic!
