Minimal Chic Active Wear

Jan 18, 2016

Happy Monday!

Outfit: Outdoor Voices // Wrap Top: Nordstrom // Tank: (comes in merlot color too) Old Navy // Pullover: Nike // Backpack: Rebecca Minkoff // Sneakers: Nike // Water Bottle: Swell

I got back last night from a weekend in NY for bridal festivities for my best friend/college roomie's upcoming wedding and it was such a fun weekend meeting some new friends, and seeing my other old roomie Nicole again (I haven't seen her for 8 years and she hasn't changed a bit, that b* is still funny).

Lately I've been super into athletic wear that can be equally chic running errands, shopping, lunching, etc. I'm loving clean, simple silhouettes in neutral tones that can be worn many different ways with other items for a normal day-to-day outfit if not at the gym. The new-ish company Outdoor Voices in perfect to me in everyway. Their aesthetic is practical, easy, modern and chic without the excess fabrics, distracting prints, and best of all it is wearable for other life functions. I also love the mesh trend I see in athletic wear right now so that mesh top (on super sale) is chic enough to go from Pilates to brunch. Besides black, grey is my favorite color for athleisure wear, so those Air Max's entertain endless possibilities, where as emerald green is my signature color (and the new arrivals favorite of OV) and rose quartz is the 2016 Pantone color of the year. Plus, give me a ballerina inspired wrap anytime and I'm on board!
