I can't believe my little man is three! Today consisted of signing up for preschool and tonight is his first soccer practice. Time is flying!

Instant Outfit for Fall

Nov 2, 2017

There are so many trends for fall this year that I'm just not a huge fan off, but a couple that I am loving are the crushed velvet, pinks and cranberry's, and the news boy caps. Also, bless my 70's loving soul because some of these scrunched boots are back and I'm so glad. I incorporated these new (or returning) trends above with three looks that are classic fall fashion to me: equestrian, layered, and feminine chic. This year the look I love most is a lady-like white or cream blouse, neutral skirt, chunky sweater and coordinating accessories. I styled that aesthetic around three boot styles I wanted to feature-the classic riding boot, the trendy bootie, and the boho boot. All three are fall classics, which I will share other options in my upcoming boot guide!

Reunited at last!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend! We had a super fun weekend going to the Cavs home opener game and meeting friends downtown for dinner on Friday. On Halloween we passed out candy at home, got takeout and watched a marathon of Casper, Hocus Pocus, and Addams Family Values. It's tradition where I have to watch Hocus Pocus on Halloween otherwise it just doesn't feel right! On Sunday we went to see my best friend's new house since they just moved here from NY! I cant believe she's actually here it still feels so surreal! Its like fate, she meets the man of her dreams, and then gets transferred for his job to Cleveland, where they live like 25 minutes away. I cant wait for the four of us to do date nights!

Happy Monday : )

Hands down my signature style is more '70's and boho influenced. So it was only natural that when walking around Chagrin Falls, I'm drawn to Daves right? Best subs ever!

It was so funny, the guy in the picture is named Dave, and works at Daves (obviously) and was hanging out in the doorway watching and when I turned to him he goes, "really nice, man. beautiful pictures." Well, any smiling, happy dude that "hey man's" me, I'm obviously going to love. So me and Dave from Daves chatted for a few, and while I was in awe of his total hippie lifestyle and positive outlook on life, I'm glad he was captured in a pic, it just makes the whole thing complete. Right on.

Back to Style

Aug 19, 2015

I may not be going back to school, (enter wistful daydreamer emoji here) but I never outgrow that sensation of needing to shop for new items whether it be for my office at work, home, or my closet. Below is a small collection of what I am loving this season for a fresh new outlook and taking on the books (or in my case, files).

Back to School style

I'm loving the new take on old styles this season, especially with capes making a chic comeback, and the classic button-down taking on layered action this fall in dresses and tops. Let your legs breathe in a pair of comfy denim joggers. Update your basics in rich buttery leather and suede. Show your personality with your accessories. I always make sure to mix some trendy pieces with the classic items that you can keep forever. It's a new season, new start of a year for some, and a good time to update your day to day!

(Also how much am I loving the olive green and pink combo this fall? So much. This is just a sneak peek, as my huge fall trend report will soon be up, and I gush my love over it. )
